Imperfectly Beautiful

I began to be very conscious of my body at a very young age. As early as the 9th year of my life, I knew that my teeth were bad and I would never have a nice round big butt.
I was a skinny kid and I was constantly reminded by everyone around me.
As an adult, I still battle with my physical flaws and insecurities, but each day, I am beginning to accept the things I cannot change, and the things I honestly want to change anymore.
We all strive to be beautiful and perfect, just for acceptance.
But guess what? Imperfection is far fetched. We are all flawed humans.
And that’s alright.
